John Godfrey, aged 30, and Willam Dobson, aged 28, found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of Thomas Hubbard in the parish of Hatfield Peverel on 25th October 1784: stealing therefrom a printed cotton gown (valued at 15/-), a stuff gown (valued at 10/-), a linen handkerchief (valued at 1/-), a pair of linen sheets (valued at 2/6), 2 razors (valued at 1/-), a clasp knife (valued at 1d), another knife (valud at 1d) and a pair of worsted stockings (valued at 1/-).
